(1)J.S.Brown Expansion Joint comprises supporting elements of center beam,Edge Beam,support bar supports of sliding plate,sliding spring,sliding bearing;sealing elements of Strip Seal and and anchorage elements of anchors,studs and support box.(2)Contrary to the Girder Grid Joint can accommodate the largest movements applied in bridge construction so far,which is facilitated by the fact that all center beams are commonly supported by one support bar with simple construction and credibility.
